Commercial terms · England & Wales

Terms of service.

Effective 15 July 2026. These terms govern use of the CLEARSKY platform. They are intentionally short. Anything an enterprise customer needs that is not covered here is agreed in writing before the contract starts.

§01Parties

The customer (you) and 79th Unit Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17133814 ("we"). Our registered office is on file with Companies House.

§02Service

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access CLEARSKY for the term you have paid for, subject to these terms and to the tier you have purchased. The service is what is described on the pricing page. Material changes are versioned and announced before they take effect.

§03Acceptable use

CLEARSKY is an OSINT platform. You will not use it to harass, stalk, or surveil individuals without lawful basis. You are responsible for the lawful basis of any biometric search you initiate (Article 6 + Article 9 UK GDPR).

§04Fees

Fees are as stated on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Annual prices are locked for the term you bought. Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes; where tax applies to your billing address, it is added at the applicable rate at checkout. Payment is via a secure PCI-compliant card processor.

Founding Member is a one-off payment of £499 for lifetime Analyst access. There is no recurring fee. The cohort is twenty-five seats; once filled it is closed. The full Founding Member terms are in section 05.

§05Founding Member

Founding Member seats are non-transferable and limited to 25 in total. The £499 sum is one-off; we will not invoice you again. Seat numbers are assigned in strict order on payment confirmation; a failed checkout never holds a seat.

Video testimonial submission is invited, not required. Founders who decline still keep their seat and lifetime access. Founders who submit and get approved appear on the public Founders roster with their video. Founders who submit and get rejected receive feedback once; a rejected testimonial does not affect seat ownership.

Refund on rejection: if 79th Unit Limited rejects a Founding Member application before the seat is provisioned, the £499 is refunded in full via the original payment method within 7 working days. "Rejection" means: (a) sanctions or KYC fail, (b) clear evidence of fraudulent intent, (c) tier-eligibility mismatch (for example, minor under 18, public-sector entity buying private-tier). It does not mean general dissatisfaction post-onboarding.

§06Refund

Seven days from charge, any reason, full refund. One email to legal@79thunit.com. We do not pro-rate beyond seven days; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

§07Liability

Our total liability under these terms is limited to fees paid in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law does not permit us to exclude.

The platform helps you produce signed dossiers. Admissibility of any dossier in legal proceedings is for the instructing solicitor to determine on the facts; we make no admissibility claim and accept no liability for outcomes that depend on it.

§08Term & termination

Term is per the tier you purchased. Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days' notice and a chance to cure. On termination we keep audit log entries for the statutory retention period and delete other personal data within 30 days, subject to subject access requests in flight. Founding Member seats survive termination of the subscription relationship and are governed by the Founding Member terms in section 05.

§09Governing law

England and Wales. Exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. UK GDPR applies to personal data we process on your behalf; a Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
