79th Unit Limited is a UK-registered intelligence consultancy. We do open-source investigations under contract, and we publish the platform we use to do them. CLEARSKY is that platform. Built so the evidence we produce holds up downstream, signed at publication, verifiable by the recipient without an account.
Why we exist
The gap we set out to close.
Every commercial intelligence platform we evaluated had the same gap. They captured data well. They did not sign their work. When a dossier had to hold up downstream, in front of a solicitor, an insurer, a court, or an audit, the credibility chain stopped at the analyst's reputation. The platform was not a witness to its own output.
CLEARSKY is built around the opposite default. Every dossier carries an ECDSA signature. Every dossier carries a public verifier URL. Every dossier carries a redaction reasoning at field level. The architecture is the credibility chain, not the analyst's reputation. That is the bet.
The discipline
What we hold ourselves to.

Sign every dossier. ECDSA P-256 at the moment of export. The recipient verifies in roughly 200ms with no account.

Audit log append-only at the database. UPDATE and DELETE blocked by database rule. Names never reach the log. Object UUIDs only.

Doctrine compiled to schema. JESIP, METHANE, IIMARCH, EU AI Act Article 5, the National Decision Model are form schemas, not labels on a UI. The common doctrine errors are blocked at form-level.

Tier-respect cryptographically. Above-tier data does not reach below-tier surfaces by data path, by model weight, by CRDT sub-doc. Cryptographic, not declarative.

Subject rights served by default. UK GDPR Article 15 from the same audit log analysts write to. Receipt of Evidence available at the public subject portal. Field-level redaction reasoning. ICO escalation route printed on the appeal page.

Each rule on this page is enforceable in code. Where the rule says "audit log append-only at the database", the database has a rule that blocks UPDATE and DELETE on audit rows. Where the rule says "tier-respect by construction", the data path, model weights, and CRDT sub-docs are tier-conditioned. The company will demonstrate the exact line of code or schema for any rule listed, on request.
