Receipt of Evidence.
If you suspect 79th Unit holds personal data on you, this is the place to ask for it. We commit to a 24-hour target response, well inside the 30-day Article 12 ceiling.
What you receive
- A signed PDF receipt listing every record we hold about you.
- Field-level redaction reasoning: which fields are withheld and under what lawful basis.
- An appeal route if you disagree, including ICO escalation.
- A cryptographic verifier URL on the cover so anyone can confirm the receipt is authentic.
How identity is verified
To stop one person reading another's data, we send a one-time code to a contact (email or SMS) we already hold against your record. You enter the code; we issue your receipt.
If we cannot match the contact you provide to a record we hold, your request is forwarded to a human analyst who may ask for ID. We never release data on a contested match.
Deadlines
UK GDPR Article 12 gives us 30 calendar days to respond. Our target is under 24 hours from verification.
79th Unit Limited (CRN 17133814) is the controller for the data it holds on its own account, and the processor for a customer's investigation data (the customer is that data's controller, and your request is routed to them).
